I have a 2006 Cadillac STS. Would I need the dealer ripoff…eerrrr I mean firmware update using the “2012 GM Navigation System DVD Map Version 8.00 NO.22820294”. It looks like it would be OK but I just want to make sure. Thanks.

Just bought Catillac 2011 STS navigation map case came with no disk. Is this what i need to purchase or should i purchase an update only. basically I’m purchasing the navigation disc for the voice prompt because it says the voice prompt won’t work without the Maps disc
